Brownie (R.I.P.) - She was "my" dog when I was younger, around 5 or so, and she was brown. Go figure.
Blackie - he is black. LOL My brother and I wanted to call him Shadow or something else, but my mom said, "I had a dog named Blackie growing up, why don't we name him that?" and so it was.
Rose - I named her after Brownie. Brownie would always climb up onto our porch through our rose bush, so that became Rose's name.
Chloe- we had had her for three days and were still calling her "puppy". That was probably going to be her name until my Aunt suggested, "What about Chloe? She looks like a Chloe." Everyone liked it, so that was that. Come to find out, her sister was also named Chloe, although my Chloe is much cuter.
Rush - My dad said the only way we were going to keep him was if he was able to name him....so Rush was named afer Rush Limbal(sp).
Pheobe - My mom wanted to name Chloe Pheobe, and so when we decided we didn't want to call Pheobe her original name, Loupe, I said, "What about Pheobe?" My mom loved the idea. We've now decided we should have named her "killer".
Joey - His parents' names were Jasper and Jazmene(sp), so I wanted something that either had to go with stones or began with a "J". He is quite the character, and all of the Joeys I know were goofballs, so the name just stuck. My brother calls him "Ricky Bobbie".![]()
Casey Nukpana - I named her Casey because it means "viligant in war" and she is a very viligant Fert. Nukpana means "evil" in a Native American language, and even though she is the sweetest little girl, I think it suits her. LOL
Dameon Michael - I wanted a name that would go with Casey, and Dameon is one of my favorite names. It also fits because off of the movie "Omen" (I think), the anit-Christ's name is Dameon. LOL Michael just fit with the Dameon part.
Lucy - her original owners hadn't given her a name, and much to my dismay my sister wanted to call her Lucy. I had no say in the matter because when I talked about changing it she burst into tears. So Lucy it is.
Bonnnie and Clyde (R.I.P.) - My friend bought them and named them Bonnie and Clyde, although they thankfully were both girl. Clyde has since passed on, and Bonnie is slowly declining. They are/were sweet hammies.
Freddie - I was in charge of caring for him for two weeks before Christmas (he was a gift to my younger sister) and I just couldn't let him remain nameless. He looked like a Freddie (or a peanut) and there was a TV character named Freddie who was funny.
Tobias - That has always been a favorite name of mine, so when my brother didn't know what to call his Gerbil, I threw that out there and he loved it.
