Pua: Thank you. My tummy feels better now. I didn't feel like eating or drinking for a bit yesterday so momma gave me blue cheese water I didn't even want blue cheese over the weekend. Then I ate good later last night. I even went and sniffed at the door but momma wouldn't let me out. I love to adventure but momma says not till I'm lots better and never by myself again. I feel better when she's in bed with me and don't like to let her go so I make her stay in bed lots too.

Me: she has scabs around both eyes now and her head is swollen. she goes up and down but seems to improve by a little baby step each night. She didn't want anything for awhile and was cold but she stood on the head board and waved her arms to beg for food last night, after she had her meds and they had time to get into her system. we got more ants for her but they are in the freezer till they stop running around.

She was actually feeling good enough last night to annoy me some she kept waking me up for food but then turning her nose up and wanting ants instead, but I didn't have any more, so she'd keep bugging me till she finally gave in and had some food or blue cheese water.

I even gave her a little log with termites in it that I hadn't had a chance to tear apart and sort and she tore into it.

I'm so glad she's doing better! Termites, uh...yummy. Eat up Pua and get your strength back.

So glad to hear she's improving, and begging for food is a good sign. Keep up the good work, Pua, but do let momma get SOME sleep, okay?

I'm glad to hear things are improving. I remember when Pua was Pet of the Day. She really captivated me and I'd be bummed if something happened to her!
