Poor Loki, Nate, and Kappy

I wish your vet would have contacted a rescue. A lot of times that's what vets up here will do despite it being against the law. (If the dogs truly have nothing wrong with them.)

At least the woman didn't just take them to the pound where they probably would have suffered before dieing.

p.s. Her just dropping the dogs off like that, but asking for the collars puts up little red flags. (Was this a domestic issue? If she did care enough to want something to remember them by, why didn't she try to find them homes first? Does she plan on just getting other dogs to throw away?) Also thinking... Does your clinic scan healthy dogs for microchips to see if these dogs actually do belong to these people before euth'ing? I'm sure a rescue would want to know if someone was doing this to one of their dogs... or it could prove the person that brought them in was just a vindictive neighbor or something.
