Hugs to your little boy.
kidneys, liver, uti, whatever it is, it doesn't sound normal for him. I would take a sample to his vet, if he doesn't have an elevated temp, they may want to do blood tests too. Big hug & kiss to your sweet boy![]()
How's Mr. Chipper today?

Andy said he was a bit lethargic last night but he ate his dinner and breakfast.
He drank a little water today but not nearly the amount he was the past couple of days. He's been mopey and following me around. He's peed twice and I got a sample during our first trip out.
He's crashed out and dreaming right now (his paw is twitching).
Kia's refused all food today. So both go in at 3:15.

awwww....I sure hope there is nothing wrong. Good luck at the vets office.
Maggie,
I didn't slap you, I just high fived your Face!I've Been Boo'd!!
Oh no Kimmy!. I am so sorry to hear Chipper and Kia don't seem to be feeling as well. You all will be in my thoughts, I hope the vet is able to find out what's going on and get them feeling better soon. Is it really hot there? Sometimes my collies used to lose interest in food more when it was really warm. Tash does too sometimes but Tommy and Raven are chowhounds

Besides kidney or UTI infection, add in possibly the beginning of Cushings. To the Vet you go for a diagnosis.
Hi gang!
Thanks for the thoughts and prayers.
Chipper's temp, kidney and liver functions are normal, but he does have a UTI. Poor boy. He's on pills for the next 10 days. His hot spot on his neck turned out to be a fungal infection so I have some medicated shampoo to put on it as well.
Kia's temp is normal and she appears well. We suspect she's not caring for the heat or she's just feeling picky. Dr. Kuschel gave me a couple of cans of ID to give her to see if it boosts her appetite. (She gobbled some up at the vets so it appears she's being picky)
They got their nails trimmed as well. Kia was a trooper but Chipper had to be muzzled.![]()
He's not a fan of the nail trim.
