You poor girl, I wish there was something I could do. I am glad to hear that the docs don't think it's too serious of a problem & that they gave you a script to rest, that leg needs it. You're in my thoughts sweetie.
Soar high & free my sweet fur angels. I love you Nanook & Raustyk... forever & ever.

Thanks for the update Anna. I'm glad you now have the "official" word
to give yourself more time & not rush things.Your leg actually looks a little
better in that first picture. Take it easy now ,while you can, & just enjoy
visiting PT a little more often.

    Get Well Soon!

Even though I'm new to the posts - I just wanted to take the time to say I hope that you heal quickly and don't feel bad about getting in the middle of the fight, because I have done the same thing and ended up getting bitten (but not by my dog - by a neighbor's dog who was attacking my dog.) We love our pets like children, so just as we wouldn't let two children fight each other without intervening - we also can't just sit back and watch our pets hurt each other. I do think that seperating Bon during mealtime is a good idea however, that way you won't have to worry about him displaying aggression sometime in the future.

Anna I am glad that you will probably be spending more time at PT but very sorry that it had to come about this way. I am glad you are getting some time to rest up. It doesn't look like standing on that leg could be a good thing but of course I am not a doctor (nor do I play one on TV....LOL!)

i'm glad to hear you're off work longer, you can and will take more meds and you are gonna see friends on saturday. and anna, honey, it really is okay to sit in your yard, with a book, a big glass of iced tea and enjoy 2-3 hours just sitting and enjoying yourself and your dogs. trust me, and try it. hugs joyce

I, too, am glad you'll be resting more. That still looks mighty painful. Take it easy and relax, ok?
And I made you a little something. I hope you feel better soon!

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

LOL! Roxey, you are just precious! I can see her mind at work..."Look, I can't make it any clearer, mom....it's as plain as the nose on my face!!!................Look into these eyes...deeper...deeper...)

I just want to reach through the screen & hug your beautiful girl! (I've gotten that look a few times too. ) And ditto what Phred said.

    Thanks Amy

The days have been good and bad. Better the less I move my leg. And let me tell you this, the dogs don't like it one little bit...especially little Miss Roxey. She misses her bike rides.
I went to let the dogs outside Friday evening and she stayed in the house and did this...

She was bound and determined she WAS going for a ride. I feel so bad for them

Huney, Bon & Simba-missed so very much

As bad as the pictures look, it does seem the brusie is starting to fade. At least a looke a little better to me. And I'm sure it will get better much quicker with a vacation from work!

I'm not sure about Saturday. Kimmy's is having Kia's party too, and I'm nit sure if we were going to try to do that, or what I really need to do is stay home and weed my flower garden, and get mulch. If there wasn't a brick border you wouldn't be able to tell the flower bed from the yard it is so overgrown!
