It's so awful, I know. I did cat adoption counseling for 1-1/2 years and, what can I say? People are so weird. Some are of them are downright IDIOTS.

But what are you supposed to do when dealing with Dr. Jekyl and Ms. Hyde?

It's so stressful to be the one responsible for turning over a cat to a new human and then find out it's not a perfect situation. It's so painful to know they are not adored and may be returned or are returned. Or, sadly, abandoned once again.

But without you, these cats would never be saved from the kill shelter or any where else.

You do the hardest volunteer work of all. Hang in there.
