They won't need a map. I'll drive down from Michigan, and they can follow me the rest of the way. Long ago I lived on Aquidneck Island!!

Your house, or somewhere a little more centerly located (shopping Columbus, picnic at a park, etc) that is a really good idea! Why don't we try to pick a date to do that?

    sounds good to me - I don't work a weekend again - until July 21st -
course it will take a week or so for Anna to feel up to Driving that far I bet! Something tells me she won't be going back to work on Tuesday either.

Oh, Anna, I'm just seeing this! I am so sorry this happened, but am thrilled to see that you are doing better.

Hugs to you and your gang.

PS, Robin, I would love a surprise visit!

I just had to smile and smile when I read about Robin's surprise visit You two do have a special friendship and I also love hearing about it.

Anna I have followed your thread because I was bitten this week by my kitty Robbie. It is *nothing* at all like what happened to you but did require a doctor visit and antibiotics. It was all an accident but I have been a little leery of him and yesterday when I tried to clip his claws - I was too scared to even do more than 4 claws. Robbie is the biggest, dopiest and most affectionate cat ever! My little bite and yet I needed to take some comfort from my PT friends.

This thread sure took a happy turn!! HUGS to you Anna and Robin (oh yes and you look terrific Robin - just a right size now )

You know I seen your thread. I'm not sure if it was the day I was bit or the day after. Even though mine is bigger yours was probably worse because it was a cat bite and I hear they can very easily get infected. I hope your doing fine and not having any pain.

They're just like us. They can have their disagreements just like we can and still get along. I don't think this incident makes Bon a bad dog. I think that your bit is so terrible because he's a big powerful dog. Big dogs are stronger, naturally. I don't think it's an indication of his ferocity.

I also agree with what was said earlier about the raw feedings possibly being a factor. Raw food is more yummie. Maybe Bon was just being a piggy? Either way, glad all is on the mend now.

Ummm.....no, it just a big knot on my leg. From what I read about hematomas it will probably be there for a while

A couple of pictures are attached if anyone wants to see what lovely colors it's turning and how far around my leg it's went
