If My Horse Doesn't Like You... I Probably Won't Either
I thought your cousin was a equine vet? Why doesn't she know?
I agree with what Mike said![]()
I have more than one cousin you know!
If My Horse Doesn't Like You... I Probably Won't Either
Poor horsey, I hope that the horse gets better soon. I can't really see what is wrong with it, all I can think of is that there is something making her/him not wanting to eat, maybe the horse is in pain somewhere, I don't know. I hope that vet can help
I will be praying for the horse to get better, I love horses so much and it is always such a sad thing when a horse had to be put to sleep, so lots of PT Prayers on the way![]()
There was a horse at the barn I worked at before and he got something wrong with his hooves (I can't remember what theheck it was called) Anyways he barley ate and couldn't walk very well. Do they use shavings as bedding?
No they use straw. Was it called thrush? Anyway, she called a different vet. The other said she wasn't hungry. How stupid is that?

No, it was caused by some type of black shavings that is poisonus to humans and horses. Some of it got into our shavings and we had to evacuate the whole barn and give them all shots. That horse eventually died and I think a couple others did too. But since they don't use shavings it wouldn't be that.
oh. well thanx anyway. i'll keep you updated on what is going on. I'll call later when they are home from work

Sorry horse lover, I forgot to mention maybe the teeth needed floating. Whoever thought of it, thanks, just don't remember who it was now.
But if that horse isn't dumping it sounds intestinal.
