Oh Anna, I am so sorry That looks very painful. I never posted about it but last August I got bitten by Mandy breaking up a fight between her and Luka. Mine was not nearly as bad and was very painful so I can't imagine what your leg feels like. My arm was in a sling for a while and I couldn't use it for much of anything. I have three scars on my arm from the puncture wounds. I know Mandy did not mean it, that bite was meant for Luka and it was my fault for coming in the middle of it but had I not Mandy would probably have been killed or seriously injured (Luka is extremely strong and does not back down in a fight). We keep them separate now but that is only because that was not the first fight and we could not always figure out what triggered their aggression towards each other.

I truly believe this isn't caused by the type of food. I think they just need to be fed separately. All of my dogs are fed separately just because they ARE dogs and you really never, ever know what could happen, and having been through a painful bite, I didn't want to experience it again nor do I want my dogs to experience it, and I certainly don't want to quarantine them again and have Animal Control visit my house ... that was no fun!

Again I am really sorry and I hope you are feeling better soon. Your leg looks awful. My arm was swollen and bruised like that but I did not need stitches and it was very painful, I seriously can't imagine what that feels like.
