Lucy's 1st Birthday!!

Andy's post made me wonder something.... will you always feed her frozen entrees or will she eventually eat live fuzzies?

She'll enjoy frozen entrees unless she decides to stop eating them. Since Lucy's had frozen since the day she hatched, she's never refused a meal.

Ball Pythons have a reputation for being picky eaters. Corn snakes seem to do pretty well.

I'd personally never feed live. I feel it's too risky since Lucy could be injured. If Lucy refused a frozen meal, I'd have to "thump" the live mouse, which I'd prefer not to do.

We got her a new log from PetSmart for her birthday. It has a long tower section and she likes to sometimes climb up her plant so we figure she may wrap around this log and climb, too. I'm waiting to catch her on it still, but hopefully I'll catch a glimpse.

Kimmy, Lucy is so cool looking. Such vibrant colors. Must be so fun in your guy's house with such interesting pets.

That is one stunning animal! I absolutely LOVE snakes and that Lucy has got the prettiest coloring! Is she a corn snake? Does she get much bigger?

Yep, she's a cornsnake Leslie. She'll be full grown by 2 years. She's also a bit of a runt, so she's smaller than most 1 year olds.
