It's cute, yes, but is it expensive? It looks like you'd just be forking out for the base than the actual tank bit.But if it can house a betta happily, then I'm sure it would look very nice in any room of the house.

Wow that is lovely. I can't see any reason why it would be bad for a betta, it is actually somewhat perfect for a betta, but not a tetra, tetra's need lots of room cause they love to swim and are always hyper, plus they need oxygen going into the tank, whereas bettas go up and get their own oxygen.
that is such a cool tank. it should be fine for the betta. in the wild, the only live in small puddles, and i have seen betta tank way smaller than that. i never bought a really small one cause they would hardly be able to move.

I've never seen a puddle housing a wild betta, they have thousands of gallons, even in the dry season their homes are bigger than a puddle. They COULD survive in a puddle because they breath at the surface, however, they'd get picked off by a predator pretty quickly if they were stuck in a puddle that small.
