[QUOTE=Killearn Kitties]Well, yes, actually it is friday night.Originally Posted by Oggyflute

But a barby?
It's 5deg C outside. The fires on and it's bangers & mash, with a cuddle up to a cheeky bottle of muscat.

I did have a flash on inspiration, and contemplated doing 'toad in the hole', but in the end decided a quick pan fry will suffice. (it was that bottle calling to me you see. Have to get dinner over quickly)

OK, bangers and mash will do. It's not really that warm today here either. I saw you being insulting about haggis on another thread. It's just not on, you know.
David, I have heard Blue moon of Kentucky keep on shining .... , but I'm not sure about that one you're singing.
Hi everyone! I need to celebrate.... THE SCAFFOLD Is DOWN!!Oh, you should have seen Fister's eyes when they were walking around outside the windows.

One more of these pretty drinks for me, please!![]()

It seems the only tummy I liked stuffed is my own.

... but oatmeal is very very good for you!
Woohoo! Drinks all round, Randi's scafolding is down. That must have been a bit of a shock for poor Mister Fister, seeing people walking by his windows.![]()
um, oh Twisted Sister... I just have to ask. Just what were you doing in a downtown hotel in the middle of the afternoon![]()

Hey guys, I have the perfect band to listen to.The Moody Blues, one year at a concert one of the local ice cream places was serving Moody Blues ice cream at the concert, but for the life of me I can't remember which company it was. Who's up for some "Nights in White Satin"?
Nights in white satin never reaching the end
Letters I've written never meaning to send
Beauty I'd always missed with these eyes before
Just what the truth is I can't say any more
Cause I love you
Yes I love you
Oh how I love you
Gazing at pepple some hand in hand
Just what I'm going through they can't understand
Some try to tell me thoughts they cannot defend
Just what you want to be you'll be in the end
And I love you
Yes I love you
Oh how I love you, oh
Breathe deep the gathering gloom,
Watch lights fade from every room.
Bedsitter people look back and lament,
Another day's useless energy spent.
Impassioned lovers wrestle as one,
Lonely man cries for love and has none.
New mother picks up and suckles her son,
Senior citizens wish they were young.
Cold hearted orb that rules the night,
Removes the colours from our sight.
Red is grey and yellow white,
But we decide which is right.
And which is an illusion?
RIP Lady, Thursday's won't be the same without you to cuddle with by the fire
KK, Allegheny moon was a popular song in the mid 1950s and was a very big hit for Patti Page. The reason I remember it is because it was named after one of the three rivers in Pittsburgh. I live a half a mile fronm the Allegheny river!Originally Posted by Killearn Kitties
LOH, I really like the Moody Blues!! I know some don't (too "white bread"?) but I have almost every album of theirs. (there I go dating myself again, "album"). Bangers and mash and haggis for breakfast *turns green* no but thanks anyway

Yeah, I know, I still use the word "album" too. My Dad introduced me to the Moody Blues, that and Pink Floyd and Led Zepplin were what I listened to growing up. My Dad actually camped out for tickets to take me and my brother and sister to see Pink Floyd during their "Momentary Lapse of Reason" tour and I took him to see them during Division Bell it was really cool. And of course, we've seen Moody Blues together.

Aww, "Nights in white satin" can almost make me cry - it's just such a ??? song!
Pink Floyd... I was a fan immediately when I first heard them, I think it was "The piper at the gates of dawn", and I was probably 17. Oh, I wish I had known John back then, they came to visit in his Studio to have their pictures taken - when Syd Barrett was with them.
I still have the negatives, and also some old prints. Perhaps I'll scan them in if anyone is interested in seeing them.
Anyway, Fister has alreaday got used to the missing scaffold, and I have a much better view.
Drinks on me!
