Argranade please stop complaining about American Idol. If you don't like it, then don't watch it. I can easily start making fun of Greenday and I'm sure you won't like it.

I personally think they are old people who try to be young by wearing a crapload of makeup and have the crazy hair young people do. The song they sang last night bored me.

Blake with Doug E Fresh was INCREDIBLE. Such talent to be able to make such sounds come ou t of your mouth. it was so cool.

and did anyone see Bette Midler? Whats up with her? I thought she sounded AWFUL last night.

Yeah, I saw Bette and she was a bit off. She's taking over in Vegas for Celine? They said February...not sure if it was this past Feb or next Feb. That should be interesting if she sounds like that.

Ah finally i can post in this thread, as the finale was here in NZ last night, may i say America YOU GOT IT RIGHT, Jordin so deserved to win, i was elated that she did, what an amazing young woman, I was gutted that Melinda was not in the finals,Shocked beyond belief, but look how graciously she bowed out, a true lady in every way, and did not think Blake deserved to be there at all, IMO there was no competition to speak of, Jordin took it away and as simon said she swept the floor with blake in that song, well something along those lines, 100 per cent agreed, i realise Blake was unique in his own way and appealed to many,but honestly i tired of his beat box, I do think he did well with his maroon 5 song though.,and of course he will do well in the future, great to see Chris Daltry doing so well, i kinda liked him alot.

I think Elliot Yamin looked awesome, i did not find him exactly attractive before, but loved his longer hair and curls, it made him look cute i think.,and yes i would not have recognised him either.

I was thrilled to see smokey Robinson perform, love that guy,and my favourite of all time gladys Knight, i always wanted either Melinda or Lakisha to sing one of her songs in the competition and was disappointed they didn't but i noticed they were the two singing it with her, great stuff, bought back lovely memories listening to those songs, and Gladys she sounded as great last night as she ever did.

I really enjoyed the finale, better than any other i reckon,yeah i agree Bette was not quite up to her usual performance.

After reading some posts just wanted to add, i don't agree that jordin looks older than 17, you have to remember she is dollyed up to the nines with makeup etc,she is a beautiful girl with a beautiful voice, of course she was overwhelmed, and she did her best to hold back the tears,i just hope the fame and success is not too much for one so young.
