That's really the best thing you can do. Teddy often had that problem. Always ripping the top layers off the pad of his foot. I got sick of paying the vet to do what we could do at home LOL. there really isn't anything the vet can do and if you keep it clean an infection is unlikely in that kind of wound. but of course keep an eye on it and smell it every once in a while.... that sounds wierd but if it starts to smell like an infection take her to the vet.... but you should be fine with some neosporin... especially if you are keeping it wrapped for a bit.Originally Posted by Mixeddogsrock
