Is it split.... or are the top layers of skin just peeled off?

If it is split pretty bad and pretty deep you might have to get the vet to glue it (stitches don't normally stay when they are in the pad)

Teddy used to have terrible problems with his feet. I would usually clean it out really well..... and then use an antiseptic. then I would put a glob of neosporin on it and I would usually wrap it up in some gauze for a day or two to keep the neosporin on. try to keep her off his feet as much as you can.... or at least keep her from running around on it too much until it starts to heal.
