    he'll always be your baby. sorry to read his teeth are painful, did the vet give any pain meds till the surgery?

    Yes, he can have a quarter of a meloxicam pill every day. I have both meloxicam and it's canine equivalent, Metacam, at home so he didn't have to prescribe any more.
