Nathan is doing great! I couldn't have asked for a better baby. He saw his pediatrician on Wednesday and the doctor was impressed with how good he looked for being less than 24 hours old. He said Nathan is the picture of health! We go back today for a second check-up.

For those of you who asked about the home birth- it was amazing! Child birth was of corse the hardest thing I've ever done, but being at home made it more enjoyable and comfortable.

My water broke at 8 Tuesday morning, but my contractions didn't really kick in until around noon. I sat in a chair most of the day, hugging my pillow. Justin was the best, he was such a great comfort to me. As the day got later and the contractions got stronger I got in a warm tub of water which helped me relax some. I went from there to the my bed where I pushed for about 45 minutes.
