Well, for collages, ASU(Arkansas State University) is pretty close to us... my sister attends it.

Turpentine Creek - A big cat reserve.. thing. They take great care of their animals. I've been there a time or two and its really nice. =]

Branson is pretty close to us, aswell. For those who aren't familiar, its a big tourist place, basically. Has Silver Dollar City and such. Haven't been there in years, but used to go every year as a little kid. I have alot of memories there.

Hmm.. Nothing really historical about that, but its something!

edit/ the later two are in MO. I live on the border, so both MO & AR things are pretty close to me. Just wanted to make that clear^^.
