You held Priscilla through her life, giving her the best life she could have, and you held her as she left her weakened body behind, leaving a little of her spirit behind to live in your heart. I am so glad you were able to use my idea. I felt a little silly mentioning it, though it was very important to me. Somehow, going through the ritual of washing the body, carefully wrapping it, talking to your pet is the beginning of healing.
