Thank you, CatsinDenver. She is resting on my lap right now as I type.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

I am glad she can enjoy being in your lap and getting all your love. Please give her a gentle scritchie for me, ok? And a kiss on that pretty forehead!
HUGS to you.

I am very sorry that Priscilla is so ill. The fact that she still enjoys sitting with you and getting attention must be helping both of you cope with what you are going through. I've been through this myself a few times and know how your heart sinks at each sign that the kidneys are failing completely. You are doing everything you possibly can? One thing, did the vet tell you to check her breathing in case it becomes labored. When my Ted had to have his fluids increased he suddenly stopped being able to assimilate them and the fluids simply sat in his chest cavity and made it hard for him to breathe. He had to be rushed to the emergency vet. It was very, very sudden, so sudden that I didn't believe what was happening at first. This doesn't happen all that often and I really don't want to worry you, but do want to alert you.
