Actually, the spots on his nose are scabs from either bumping his head on the cage door at the shelter, or from the nasty URI he had when he got there. His nose is still a bit sniffly, so I'm thinking it may be a combination of the two.Originally Posted by Grace
The shelter said "Oh, he's about 2 years old." The vet record for when he was checked out estimates him at at least 5yrs old. I wouldn't be surprised if he were at least 7yrs. He's so laid back, no kittenish ways about him. He just acts mature. I thought at first he was over 10 years, but maybe not. Maybe it was just being a stray and looking a bit rough that makes him look older than he is.
One thing, his paw pads, the big ones in the middle of the paws, seem puffy and really soft. They're also looking really rough in some places, like the skin was peeling. Is this a sign or symptom of anything?![]()
