REST IN PEACE GRACIE. NOT A DAY GOES BY THAT I DON'T MISS YOU.
I hope the little runt makes it. Poor little guy. They are all so cute. What a great job you've done with helping these dogs. You Rock!!
It breaks my heart to look at Faith, just like everyone else here. She is such a sweetheart. She is looking somewhat better and I hope and pray she will someday get to know what a forever good life is like. I can't get over how sad and downhearted she looks though. I would take her into my home in a heartbeat if I could. Please give that precious girl some kisses from me. Bless all their hearts![]()

I've been Boo'd...
Thanks Barry!
Well, this is a very sad day. Faith was to be transferred to her temp. foster home today. Cindy, the main volunteer working with Faith, and her husband, David, the dog temperment tester, went to move her. As David entered her kennel, Faith growled very badly at him. He could not get near her or her pups at all. Cindy and David decided it is best to leave Faith and the pups at the shelter until they are weaned. The vet tech took home the runt and we are waitin for an update on him. We are hoping the pups make it and do not get sick. If they do well, they will come to me. As for Faith, well her fate is not so good. They will do another temp test on her as time gets closer to weaning. Due to her past and what she has been through (we don't even know how her life was before the day she was picked up) that she will not be able to be adopted out. She may have to be put down. I emailed Cindy and asked her if it could just be men that Faith does not like, I am awaiting a response. This is very sad. I was so hoping to be able to save her along with her pups. I know we can not save them all, but I was hoping we could save this one girl. I will post more when I hear from Cindy. Please send some prayers their way, as this girl really needs them now. Thank you.

I wish sometimes the animals could talk in situations like this and tell us all what happened so we could understand.
Isn't she considered to be protective of the pups right now anyway? I feel so bad for her. She's such a pitiful girl. She is just trying to do the best she can for her pups. It seems so wrong to put her down when she is only trying to protect the babies. I'm praying with all my strength for this sweet girl. She's had such a bad start and just doesn't know any other way. She's just scared to death for herself and the babies.

Yes Krista. She's just confused and has been through so much adversity lately. It isn't fair to her to test her at a time like this. She hasn't even had time to settle down yet. She needs time to calm down and take care of those beautiful little pups. I hope the temp. tester will be able to give her more time.![]()

I agree it just seems taht after all she has been through she is just doing her best to keep her babies safe. I hope once the babies are older, she will understand that she is safe,a nd they are only trying to help. Prayers for Faith and her pups!Originally Posted by Daisy and Delilah

Maggie,
I didn't slap you, I just high fived your Face!I've Been Boo'd!!
I emailed Cindy again asking to do a temp test once the pups are here with me. I am going to do ALL I can to save her. I have to. I can't let them put her down, not if we don't know how she will be after weaning. I am doing everything....I just hope it is enough.
