I would not try that - metal components will still be prone to rust and corrosion, and it's not worth the cost of a new keyboard, never mind the inconvenience of being without one!

LOL I did not recommend it... I'm just saying it works.

I used to be a tech support agent for an internet company LOL and a guy called in for tech support and I asked him to go try to go to a website.... and he said... "I can't right now" and I asked why not... He said his keyboard was drying as he just washed it in the BATHTUB... lol. I asked why he would do such a thing... and he said "because it was dirty." LOL DUH how silly of me

But I worked with a woman who was so misophobic that she used a spray-cleaner on her keyboard nearly every day - then complained that her keys were sticking!
