The vet did call back at 7 p.m. She is stabilized now, she was bleeding pretty badly, but she's doing okay now and I can go get her tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. as long as she is still doing okay. Thanks for all of your prayers, it really does help. I feel better knowing she's stable right now but I want her better so I'm okay with her staying, it was just hard not knowing if she was okay and how bad she was bleeding. She had a vulvoplasty done at the same time and that's what was bleeding so much. She had a chronic infection in the skin folds due to arthritis and inability to squat all the way and excess skin in the area so we had to have some removed to get rid of the infection. I'll just be glad to have her home and okay.

Oh my goodness, Vela. How stressed you must be. I'm keeping Ginger and all the family in my thoughts and prayers. Please give her some kisses for me when you bring her home tomorrow.

I hope sweet Ginger will get feeling better soon. I was just thinking of her I was going to find this thread and ask how she was doing. I'm sure you will be so happy to have her back tomorrow.

Vela im so happy you can go get her,You must of been watching the clock,I'm glad she came out of the surgery well!There must be something with surgeries in Females?My Lacy also bled alot also,And all the males i have ever had went through them fine.

Let us know when you get her home how she is doing,My thoughts and prayers are with Ginger for a Speedy recovery.

Thank you everyone. We are home now. She is snoring next to me hehe. She is very swollen and sore in her bottom but that will get better with time. She is really happy to be home and so am I. Her tumor was not invasive into muscle so hopefully it will just be gone now. It's still being sent for pathology but that'll be some time before I hear. Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers. It really does help.
