Copy of email I sent to the person who introduced me to J***

J*** and I met up again today and all things considered it went quite well again today.

Koli actually was playing with K***. Playing!

However, both K*** and K**** were leery of Koli and she took advantage of it and tried bossing them around. K*** didn't put up with it, but she bullied K****. J*** says that is really out of character for him (K****.) We end up having to put K**** in the air lock to save him from Koli. (We met up at Petsmart in Saginaw then ventured to Bark Park.)

When we were in the store Koli wasn't a complete spazz like she used to be. Last weekend worked a miracle on her. We had avoided taking her to pet stores because of the way she acted before, but I think it would be OK now.

Last week I was just starting to have hope I could place her with another dog. After today I definitely feel confident placing her in a home with another dog that can hold their own. Not sure about placing her with a submissive dog (or overly dominant either of course,) though.

J also commented on something that I've noticed. Koli has one heck of a herding instinct. She looks like a Border Collie or Aussie out there. Some of her moves belie that she's a Husky, sometimes she moves more like one of the aforementioned breeds.
