I don't think too many people name their pets Depot, but ever city in WI has a Depot street. Other uncommon names Caddis, Aphid, Kalooki, Ryu, Cho, 13 (yes the fish's name is 13), Horace, Walden. I don't know what constitutes unique.

I have one animal that I gave a pretty unique name...its my rabbit Kishii! I named her Kishii because she is black and Kishii is the japanese name for 'Night' ...its suits her lol.

Bobo is kind of a different name too, that is my cat, but then again I've seen other people's cats named Bobo, like Catmandu's wonderful kitty named Bo Bo.

I wouldn't consider Anita a unique name, but I've never met another dog with that name, not even online. I'm sure there has to be another Anita somewhere, though.

  6. I used to have a cat by the name of Rattling Diesel when i was younger. i think thats the oddest name i ever came up with,, or will ever come up with LOL

it was because she had such a LOUD funky purr.
but i voted no since the pets i currently have all have common names

Only one of my pets name can be considered unique, and that's my fishs name, Rio. I have never ever ever come across, even another animal named Rio, so I guess it is pretty uncommon. I hate the names I come up with, Sassy, Star, and Diamond are SO common.

ETA: One of my shrimps nam is pretty uncommon, his name is Jack Sparrow lol.

I definitely wouldn't consider my hound's name common... Noba... short for Oda Nobunaga.... and my cat, Jax, well he got stuck with a sorta common name!

    Growing up I had:
Corvette - named for her big fender like ears, and her purrrrr!
Motley - a stray found at my mom's one school, ancient, toothless and very motley/bedraggled looking.

Maija - our other german shepard

    Now I have:
Finae (actually spelled Fine') Italian for The End - she was the last of her litter

My pet names in the house are all over the place

    My choc lab is Zues
My german shepherd is "babygirl" but she should be called high maintance! lol
My lab/blueheeler/petbull mix (yeah crazy combo) is Rookie (he was a newbie to the family and thats how we came up with his name.

    My ferret (s)
I just lost one February 13th and was the hardest day I have had in a long time .... I cried for 3 days when I had to put him down. But I had a brother and sister and Taz was the brother and I still to this day miss him dearly. Zoe is his sister and is tons of fun. I think now that Taz is gone she is more spoiled then before. I know without her brother she gets lonely so she gets out of her cage awhole lot more then before. She loves to chase my husband and around and nip at his feet. I actually saved their lives by bringing them into my home. Their previous owner was not taking care of them. They were flea infested, stunk to high heaven and had not had any shots or vaccinations. When they moved in I am sure they thought wow we moved up in the world. They were/ are spoiled rotten.

I also had a Tea cup sting ray that just passed away and his name was "johnny" after johnny depp. Then we have a snowflake eel named snow (orginial but hey I didn't name him) we have a rainbow wrasse and yep another orginial name... you guessed it...RAINBOW.. lol Then I have tons of GUPPIES AND I DO MEAN TONS!!! and I dont even bother to name them

While Sadie and Spot are not at all unique, Cincy is. I know of one other dog that was named Cincy (sorta where I got the idea). I'm sure there are others our there, but it isn'tone you run into everyday.
