I was going to say the same as Ashley... the first dog is an Amstaff. Staffies are much smaller than both Amstaff's & APBT's (which are theoretically the same breed, besides the fact that Amstaff's are a "show" version). I LOVE Staffies, they would definitely be my fave if that was an option.

Pittie mixes-I prefer them nice and lean, not all muscled. No reason why.

Blue and red nose are just colors, not technically types. I like working/gamebred apbts as well as Am Staffs just about equal.

I don't know any correct terms for Pits, but I like APBTs that are built lean, sleek, and athletic looking. Not the stocky ones with big blocky heads. My favourite colour is red (with red noses). I also much prefer natural ears to cropped in Pits. Hopefully that all made sense..
