But it really does make sense if you read it very thoughrouly (sp?). Same as if you download the script and figure it all out, you see that everything Jack Sparrow says makes sense too. In his own way.

People make holidays so that we can amuse ourselves in the many ways possible to do so on different occasions.

Because they're amusing, no doubt. However, I have a slightly different opinion on the subject... Why do we find them amusing? I'm sure you will ask again. Once more I would respond We just do. Well, if we find it amusing, why don't some people find fingers facinating and amusing? People are known to do wierd things. After all, Myself? I'm guilty of being amused by Jars of Dirt. One simple-er answer for the question is...

Philosophy- The rational investigation of the truths and principles of being, knowledge, or conduct. (truthfully I had to look in the dictionary to get a good definition. lol
