WOW!! all that food just thrown away?? all our stores here send it to the shelters! You are awsome for taking it and handing it out!

You should not feel bad about offering your neighbor some, you had no idea her dog had passed. It is very sad, but definitely not something you should feel bad about! You were doing a great thing! Hope she feels better. RIP Sassy!

Aww thats so sad about Sassy, but you were not to know, but i can imagine how awful you would have felt, why don't you donate all the food to the shelters instead, they are sure needy of it.

Don't be too hard on yourself, how could you have known? I too am horrified at such a waste, you'd still think they'd donate it to the SPCA. Anyways, good for you !
