first of all the first question that you NEED to ask if the dog(s) you are interested in if they are good with cats. I am sure you have your hands full with 7 cats and some small dogs have a high prey drive, some don't. it just depends on the dog. where are you located? I can look for small dogs for you if you want on petfinder.
