"How fast" or "How erradic" isn't the point here. Its actually quite simple...

You took a car from a car lot that WASN'T yours. You didn't sign paperwork making it yours, you did not give money making it yours. You took a vehicle that WASN'T YOURS and proceeded to thrash the engine, parts, body, etc with mud and crazy driving.

Then, when you came back to reality, you realized you'd done something you were NOT supposed to do and proceeded to MAKE UP a story as to how all that mud got up in the undercarriage, etc. (btw, just parking in a puddle, even just parking in MUD will NEVER do the damage to the tops/sides/under carriage you're telling this dealer. Be prepared for a huge lecture and loss of friendship when you return this poor SUV. I'd even be prepared for some legal action by the dealer. You say you were friends? I don't know why you'd do that to a friend...)

Do you see the theme? You took a vehicle that DID NOT BELONG TO YOU...or anyone in your party for that matter...and proceeded to treat it in a way that was NOT intended. Want proof? Read the VERY INFORMATIVE post by cmayer31 (GREAT post by the way!) as to WHY taking a vehicle in slippery, watery MUD is not such a great idea....espeically what was supposed to be a TEST DRIVE.
