I'll jump in here and answer since I'm from AZ!!

It is pronounced: Quart - Site, the spelling throws everyone off, but then again here in AZ we like to do that on a lot of our cities!! We have a place called Canyon De Shay - ok, that is the way its pronounced, but the spelling I haven't the foggiest on how to begin to spell it! I will look for it and type it out for you - you will see, we are crazy!! (actually these are a lot of American Indian names)
    Bunny & Kitties:

    Taz - F (7); Majerle - M (4) & Loki - M (8 months)
    (pronounced: Marley).

Oh what a shame! I was hoping it would be much more exotic than that!
    Thank you very much.

Especially when the schpelling is mostly wrong!

Popular version is "Quartzite" --- leaving out an important "S" ...

Debbie: I'm so glad to hear of your happy uppydate. Sounds like you've got everything planned out for the next few months. {{{hugs}}} to you both and kisses to the furbabies. Don't forget Vancouver.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
