Definately the vet -- they will give you the meds that will kill the worms and expells them. The stuff at the pet stores merely expells the worms, and they can reinfect themselves later if they comes across the worms again. (or so thats what I've been told)
depends on how severely wormed isis is. an inch long ..? eeps, probably not wormtapes. getting flea treatment is another thing you could get, prevent tapes if those are.
moosmom, that's flagyl.it's more likely for interparasites - like metronidazole which my cat, chance used to take for IBD (inflammatory bowel disease).
