I must confess I had 2 thoughts...one was pregnant, but,the other (and honestly my first thought) was Mono.

Me too! Oh Kimmy! I hope it's something simple. If it's any help, I, too, have my first post-op appointment at 8:15 a.m. on Halloween. I asked the doctor's office if it was okay to come in costume and the nurse laughed and said they required it!

although I'm not sure how complex a costume I want to do now that I know I'll have to take it off!

Well, it is just a pirate costume so it'd be easy to take off if they need me in a gown. Plus it has big poofy sleeves, which makes it easy to roll up for blood withdrawl.

I'll dress up then!
