I know how heartbreaking this must be for you, but please take comfort in knowing you did an awesome thing, by taking chance in you allowed him to die in peace and with dignity without suffering as he would have, if he had been left out in the cold.

Katie, I'm so sorry to hear this sad update. Like others have already said, you loved him in his time of need and did everything you could for him and now you've let him go so he can now be painfree and play up at Rainbow Bridge. RIP sweet Chance.
