Well my mom wanted to eat some of the dogs turkey thawing in the fridge, so I ended up feeding them what she didn't want.

    Mandy:
    Turkey neck
    Turkey thigh, no skin
    (around 1 lb total)

    Nova:
    Turkey quarter, no skin
    1/2 turkey liver
    1/2 turkey heart
    1/3 turkey gizzard
    (around 1.25 lbs total)

    Luka:
    Turkey leg
    2 turkey wings
    1/3 turkey gizzard
    (around 2.25 lbs total)

    Buck:
    Turkey back and tail
    1/2 turkey liver
    1/2 turkey heart
    1/3 turkey gizzard
    (around 2.25 lbs total)

I forgot to thaw out meat, and go buy meat and vegies today so the kids pretty much had left overs .

    They all had...

Left over beef mince (RAW), raw carrot, an egg each (Clover did not eat her shell for a change which was odd), supplements and a mix of supercoat/ bonnie working dog/ royal canin dry food kibble that we have been winning at flyball. Wont hurt them for one day.. and i will be going shopping for them later today.

I have pork hocks/ trotters thawing for their breakfast in the morning.

My boys got a little extra today, Gonzo went running 5 miles this morning, and they both went to the park for 2 hours a few hours ago. So they both got a ton of exercise! =)

    Breakfast:
    Buffalo Farmore (frozen, 1/4 lb)
    3 chicken wings

    Dinner:
    1 can of Sardines
    Beef heart/liver/kidney
    2 chicken wings

I have a reeeaaaally funny story about Farmore! I went to Western Feed downtown, which is owned by the same people as where I used to work, to buy Farmore because I was nearby. I went and got a bunch of various 1-lb rolls, because they didn't have whole cases of 5 1-lb rolls. He said he couldn't ring up a bunch of single 1-lb rolls, so he told me to go get 2-lb rolls. I got 5 2-lb rolls, and brought them to the counter. He was weighing them and he said, "welll... since they're frozen, this is actually only 5 lbs". Seriously. So he charged me like $10 for 10 lbs of Farmore, which is the cost of 5 lbs. I don't know if he meant to and was joking with me, or if he was actually that slow... I didn't even realize what was going on until I was driving and thinking about it. So I got 5 lbs of free Farmore! chyeaaahhh.

    I love the merles!!
I give all mine raw but give the bones too. As long as the meat is never defrosted in the microwave or cooked in anyway, its totally safe as you know. I use thigh and drumstick quarters. I feed one pound twice a day, plus veggie mixture with raw egg ( and the shell for calcium), yogurt, chicken livers mixtured into a food processor. I love how the coats just gleam! Then I mix Missing Link vitamins, and Hair of the dog by docs blend for Omega 6 and 3's.

My Collies get fed twice a day. So far they have had a Venison steak for each of them.

Well, they aren't MY dogs, but when they are here, I treat them like they are.

My daughter often leaves her 2 German Shepards with us, sort of like a vacation for them ~~~ a reprive for me

I was feeding them Inova Senior Plus, but she left them here with "Iams Active Maturity"~~Oh well, let's do it.

So, they each get about a cup of that , PLUS, 1/4 cup of Salmon, for breakfast. And, another cup of Iams at Supper Time. Hexay is the one with mild hip dysplasia, so she gets her suppliment twice a day. Kasha, the black German Sheperd, wants more than 2 cups per day.

I always offer each of them a treat when they come to me when I call them~~~ In the form of "Milk Bone" Senior Dog Bisquits.

I make sure that their dishes are sparkling clean and filled with Fresh Brita ( oh, they are spoiled here) at all times.

I'm a doting Gramma these days To Dogs!!!

Mine get whole chicken thigh ( about a pound) then in the food processor I put ( mind you for 4 ) a whole sweet pototoe raw, two eggs shell and all for calcium, yogurt, chicken livers, green beans. Then I sprinkle missing link vitamins, and hair of the dog on it. The females also get a cranberry capsule- half capsule each..
