My aunt tryed to kill herself

She is in the ICU.They are keeping her under for tonight and propably tomorrow.They don't want her to wake up and freak out.My cousin K who is 15 doesn't know yet what is really happening.Exatra prayers for her.

I am so glad your Aunt did not succeed, sadly mine did, and i know the pain and suffering it did cause, you are all in my thoughts and i hope they can help your aunt, she must be feeling so awful to want to do that, I hope they can successfully help her depression and she will be happy again, hugs and love to all of you.

Prayers on the way! I have overdosed and I know what a painful ordeal it really is...I hope that her organs aren't damaged and she can get some help.

I hope your aunt gets the help she needs. There is nothing to be ashamed of. Some people just can't cope with stress or sadness..whatever caused her attempt. There are wonderful therapists and medications. Extra blessings for her daughter who is also a victim. Poor dear. My therapist helped me so much, and I'm not ahsamed to admit it.

It is so sad when one is so sad that they try to take their own life. I know how it feels to be bipolar.

She stoped taking her meds she was fine for 4 years and then she thought she didn't need the meds.She was then in the hosptial 4 differnt times in the past month.My aunt is adopted before she was adopted by my grandparents she had a horriable life
But mental illness runs in our family my grandpa and i both have bi-polar.
