http://www.hawaiianhumane.org/animallaws/If you live in a residential area, no more than ten dogs, aged 4-months or older, are allowed. Two chickens per household are the limit in residential areas. Pigs and other farm animals are permitted in residential areas only if the requirements in Sec 7-2.5 are met. There is no law governing the number of cats, birds or other companion animals you may keep.
