Gosh I'm just now reading this. What excellent work you've done and made a wise decision! Do you know how to set the trap up and use the kittens as bait? If not, let me know and I'll send you instructions. I applaud you and your husband for doing this.
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

Oh Lori, bless you and Richard for taking care of these wee ones. I pray that mama hasn't ran into touble with the coyote.
I hope you didn't risk your recovery by getting that 1st baby.

And I remember you said something to the effect of "I have kitten fever". Now you have 3 too look after! lol I am just sorry you dont feel better after your surgery. I wish if it had to happen, you could be recovered first. Please rest and take care of yourself as well. *HUGS* Katie and kitties
