OK, let us look at this logically......

INDOORS:
warm when it is cold
cool when it is hot
lots of cuddly cats
soft furniture
indoor plumbing

OUTDOORS:
insects
unfavorable weather
insects
the hard ground
insects
pee-ing in the woods

I guess I would have to say, indoors.
