I hope she can get a lawyer at no cost - because if he wants to contact her, he better do it through a lawyer!

I hope your friend and her mom get counselling once they are settled - or even now.

They'll have a lot of what's called post-traumatic stress...if they can even go to a support group for abused families. I hope they have been seen by a doctor.

Do you know why he is being taken to the hospital?

I hope he gets a good assessment there...and I know a lot of medical staff are made aware of how to find out about domestic abuse without scaring people.
