What did your dog(s) eat today?

I bought a can of http://www.tripett.com/ - has anyone fed this? I'm unlucky in my search to find and actual butcher that would sell that type of stuff.

Well it's cooked. I personally would not feed it because of that (along with the price). And I'm not too sure how I feel about the vegetable gum. I think if it didn't have the gum, I might be inclined to get it as a treat (if I couldn't find the real thing).

Green tripe is not neccessary. It is a good addition to the diet, and dogs love the smell (it makes me gag like crazy though) and taste. I wouldn't fret over it if you can't find it.

You can also buy it from GreenTripe.com. I know a lot of people get it from there and I considered it, but I decided against it because they are in California and the shipping would be too high.

Yeah, The only reason I bought it was as a treat, since many have said how much their dogs enjoy it. I only bought one small can so they can have a spoonful on their kibble for breakfast tomorrow. I know it's not necessary and that it's cooked.

My mini american eskimo won't even touch raw stuff, and my vet said a raw diet would be unsafe for him, but I have no problem with people feeding their dogs a raw diet.

I feed 1/2 dry food and 1/2 wet food. For dry food we give him whatever looks good, he doesn't care. And for wet food we give him Natural choice.
