Anna, my pups have had sweetbreads! They love it! Your freezer is a w e s o m e, btw. Your 3 kids are LUCKY!

Gonzo just ate his portion of goose. He ate the neck, and a half of a leg quarter. He also got an egg, some cabbage & tomato, and some vanilla yogurt w/ banana for dessert. He wasn't eating anything this morning because of Fozzie being gone, but he gave in to all the good stuff I offered him tonight.

It's so sad not having Fozzie to feed. He's such a little porker, I am sure he's missing his dinner!

I've fed sweetbreads and you are right, it's an EASY way to feed organs. It's a little pricey in my area & for some reason I always forget to discuss price/availability with my butchers so they don't get it often.

    Dinner last night:
Nanook: 3 chicken feet, chicken quarter, small piece of venison
Raustyk: 3 chicken feet, chicken quarter, med. piece of venison, egg
Kaige: 2 chicken feet, chicken quarter, med piece of venison
Indy: 2 chicken feet, chicken quarter, small piece of venison

    Breakfast this morning:
    1 beef trachea each
    small-medium piece of beef
    yogurt

    Dinner tonight will be:
    beef
    beef kidney
    egg
    chicken foot
Soar high & free my sweet fur angels. I love you Nanook & Raustyk... forever & ever.

    My girls had:

    Chicken thighs
    Beef Chunks
    Chicken Liver
    Geen Beans

I have a question. My nephew hunts, he will be going goose hunting before long would it be ok for my dogs to have the geese feet? Do you give them the whole foot?

Thank you Kay for the beautiful sig!

I don't see why not, I personally would give it a try. I am not sure if they have any specific values to them, like chicken feet do but they won't hurt. I already give chicken feet and yes the entire foot (leg, foor, toes).

Edited to add, you may want to clean them well & freeze them first.

I don't know what Bailey had for breakfast since hubby fed him really early. For dinner, he had...

    2 Turkey Wings
    1 Quail
    3 Duck Feet
    1 Egg
    Sweet Potato

Bailey puked up his Quail at about 1:00 in the morning - it was the mast horrible smell EVER! Everything else stayed down but a couple pieces of sweet potato. Maybe the Quail was too rich? Or because it was a new meat that he hasn't had before? I don't know whether I should give him his other Quail. Anyone have any ideas as to why he would puke out the Quail?

pork hocks, beef kidney, meatballs, oatmeal, bok choy, gala apple
I really didn't know what to do with the pork hocks so i just chopped a little off the end of one and chopped up some beef kidney to go with it. She seemed to like it.

On the 25th everyone had a pig foot and Buck also had a lamb shank.

Yesterday everyone had beef brisket, and Buck also had a chicken quarter.

Today the girls had chicken liver, beef chunks, and canned mackeral. Mandy had three chicken feet and Nova and Luka had two.

Buck was having runny stool so I gave him a turkey neck and five chicken feet to try to firm him up some.

Yesterday the pups had rabbit and lamb for breakfast. I bought sirloin steak for myself for dinner but bought too much, so the pups had that for dinner. BOY they inhaled it fast!

Today they're getting buffalo and organs for breakfast, and tripe and meaty chicken bones for dinner.
