I have never used a Wahl clipper, So Im not sure how I would get on with one of them, I've used a oster clipper but I find it gets really hot quickly and I think its easier to use on a bigger dog rather than a small one and a Laube clipper Its so easy to use!! but they really are expensive, I'm looking for one a bit cheaper atm, I've found one..

    Groomers Online

I've used this before and found it really easy on smaller dogs but takes forever on a big dog! lol I think Im just being fussy..!

I would love to get a Laube clipper one day, I find them easy on any size dog because they are so easy to use!

Shelteez2 : Do you use the Laube blades? We use the oster ones and andis ones at work but I've heard it really messes them up?

    I have this pair http://www.petedge.com/shopping/prod...ProductID=3210

Everyone at my work uses Andis. I also have another pair of Andis clippers (basic black 2-speed) and they are at least 5 years old (bought them used) and they still work.

I've never seen them ones before! I love the colour too I've never seen them so I'll have to see if I can find them over here!
I saw the 2 speed andis clipper but the super speed one I posted is like only a few pounds more so I was thinking maybe its best to go with that one if I chose that in the end.

I got another choice now! either one of those andis ones or save!! for a Laube clipper.

Also do you use the ceramic blades or the normal ones? I found the ones at work are more or the the same and heat up just as fast really, but that was with the oster clipper so It might just be the clipper..

Yeah I have the silver ones, they have worked well for me.

I don't have any ceramic blades, but my boss does. She bought a couple but she doesn't like them, I can't really remember why though...I'll try to remember to ask her the next time I see her.
