How can you not see you are the ONLY one doing rude things? **cough cough**. That is what makes this so funny. Not seeing the forest for the trees and all that...LOLOL.

Yep. Because that was totally necessary and you would be doing that if the shoe was on the other foot.

Really, though. Why do you have to go out of your way to be rude? It's not like I'm self obsessed or conceited. I was just posting about not being replied to because I thought NOBODY WANTED ME AROUND. That's what it is about. Okay.

I really don't want to get into the argument as I don't know what it's about. But let me just point out, that Cataholic said nothing rude or offensive, unless I'm blind.

    AMEN SISTER!!!

One thing that got me recently was the thread about what PT dog would you "flitch" if you could.

I hated reading throught it because I knew my dogs were never going to be named, but I did anyway For crying out loud I'm 30!! Why do I feel like I'm back in middleschool *waaahhh no one likes me!*
I'm sure it's just human nature... the need to be liked.
....it gets depressing after a while when you realize it over and over that you are not liked by everyone and there will always be people that are liked more.
I always tell myself to walk away from PT and save myself from the pain but do I ever listen to myself? Noooooo!
I am grateful for the (few) people that respond to anything I may post. You REALLY make my day!!!

I understand exactly where you guys are coming from, and I feel the exact same way most of the time. I was away for a month last summer and I highly doubt not one person realized I was away, or if they did didn't care. I'm leaving in a few days for college, and I won't be spending anymore time here (or if I do it will be VERY limited). I debated posting a "goodbye thread" but ulitmately decided against it because nobody's going to care anyways! I'll just leave quietly and peacefully, I feel childish for saying this but I was going to post pictures of The Hoodlums before I leave too, but its really not worth the trouble anymore.

I admit though, I don't reply to threads nearly as much as I used to. I feel like I'm saying the same thing over and over and people will think I'm just making pointless posts. I do look at all of the threads, just don't reply. OR, I write up a reply and I'm not happy so I just delete the whole thing (like I'm about to do with this one). I'm not sure why. Sometimes I'm just not in the mood to reply to threads. *shrugs*

Oh, and Angie, I would definitely filch your two! I've always had a 'thing' for GSDs and Buddy and Sierra are gorgeous!

And I'm not exactly sure why I quoted you

I knew that the "filch" thread was meant well, but that somehow people's feelings would end up hurt. Sigh.

I love all of the dogs of Pet Talk. That's why I didn't say I would filch any of them, because we were only allowed one. There was no "all of the above" choice.

I only mentioned a certain husky and an afinity for peanut butter Scooby Snacks because I know that that's as good - or better - than the Pied Piper's pipe to a certain husky, so I wouldn't technically be filching anyone! He'd follow me home through no fault of my own ... right? And whoever else happened to come with us ...

K9krazee, we will certainly miss you while you are at college, but will understand you posting less. College is important, and we'll still be here when you have a moment to breathe, are lonely for someone who knows you, or need to vent, or just need hugs.

You are all, each and every one of you, important to Pet Talk. This place is a community that covers a broad spectrum of humanity, but we all do love our pets, and I think that sets us apart from "the rest" - and in a good way.

I am so sad!!! Seriously... I am not joking. I hadn't checked this thread in a while and I was "very surprised" that folks feel the way they do. Not that it isn't understandable, and as pitc9 put it - "simply human nature". BUT I SERIOUSLY - No... I mean seriously like you guys! K9Krazy and Pitc9 and you too MyPeanuts!!! And you too - that's for whoever else may read this and I am "just not thinking of" at the moment.

I really do not know who I have and have not responded to in the past. I sort of respond to something that catchs my eye. I do have to say that I shy away from those who continually ask for help and advice "that they obviously intend to ignore". Also, think about this... sometimes we/people in general, respond to those we "don't like" - cause we wanna let them know we disagree or are offended and such.

But heah, don't go... Shane, come back Shane!!! I promise I will miss you guys!!! I promise... No, I mean... I promise. College has Internet - I'm pretty sure!!! Check in and let us know what exciting stuff in going down in school. That is interesting stuff and we old folks really like hearing about it. And Pitc9... I agree that your dogs are beautiful and I think you have one of the most distinguished, regal looking siggys on the site. And you are not "endlessly changing yours" like some. And MyPeanuts... I always read your posts.

Ahhh man... I am so sad! Well if you guys go, you can always check in with me. PM me or you can even Email my business address - [email protected]!!!

hey, it's just simply let bygones be bygones for me.
people acted out of hand, heck I am guilty of doing so myself. thats ok, cuz i'm human, youre human, we're all human. and i'm sorry, and willing to put it behind me. all that really matters is that we love our pets, and this forum is just another cool way of expressing that.

so be happy everyone!! we have our animals, our animals rock, and we love them! putting all this stuff behind us will make us all feel so much better.

    *You are my sunshine,
    My only sunshine.
    You make me happy
    When skies are grey.
    You'll never know, dear,
    How much I love you.
Please don't take my sunshine away.*

This is funny - 4 pages! I guess the way to get a response is to be critical of others' motives. I do agree with the point of the original post, however. I feel for my cats when nobody looks at their photos. (Really insane to care, I know)

I knew you were going to college, but I didn't know it would be this soon. I will definatley miss you and the hoodlums. I hope college goes well for you and I hope you can get on sometimes at least.
