    Is there a Chick's Drive-In in Ohio?? Phred ought to try them!

    I buy mine in a can and fry them myself - with garlic and parsley.

    Sorry, Donna. I'm no help. The only clams we see in the south are those fried clam strips and I can't stand them! When we were in Massachusetts, I had fried clams and it was the whole thing. That was gross too! This from a person who loves fried oysters!

    I second the vote for Ronnies! Yum, Yum, Yum - you inland folks just don't know what you're missing. And you can get a side of deep-fried mushrooms, too! Then, if you're not overful, head across the parking lot to their ice cream stand.

    Sounds good but frankly I would rather have fried oysters.....my Mom makes the best.
