Micki - Good update!

Ask the Vet to give your dog a shot of Zofran shortly before returning him to you. Or get the shot now. Wait an hr and try offering the can food. If that restores appetite then ask for a precription of Zofran pills. It is expensive, but will suppress all nausea. Also ask for a referral to a specialist for a second opinion as to treatment.

Well, they said that Micki's bloodwork today came back "exceptionally well" so the possibility of being poisoned is quite unlikely at this point. He's also feeling better, which is a good sign. Today while he was at the vets he chewed through his IV, barked constantly and rubbed his nose raw trying to get out

BUT, those are very good signs! Yesterday he layed there all morning, so today was an improvement. They gave him a shot of antibiotics and some pills to restore appetite. He'll go back Monday (or Tuesday) for additional bloodwork and see if he'll need another round of fluids. He said that if Micki returns to normal within the first week of treatment, the outlook is very good for him...so for now its just a wait and see with check ups throughout the week.

I missed this before now, I really really hope he has nothing serious and that he recovers completely. How scary that must be. Lots of prayers for you and Mickey!
