That would be fantastical ! And make sure you bring Kirk along, he can meet all of the NorCal Border Collies! I love his eyes by the way, they're so expressive. I bet they get him out of a lot of trouble!

Kirk is about 1 month younger than Fozzie, and Fozz is almost 20 lbs now. They would be perfect sized play-mates! I do think it depends on what the pup is fed, their growth rate, etc. Like, plenty of dogs gain just a few lbs after 6 months, while some double their weight! Fozzie has slowed down his growth since 12 weeks... probably because he started getting all Raw at that point, which is a VERY good thing. I think Kirk will love home-made, and it'll help slow his growth. A friend's Cardi is 4 months old and weighs 20 lbs, so who knows? Kirk could turn out to be around 40. Now that I think of it, Gonzo *was* about 25 lbs at 6 months, but then again he was kept outside 24/7 and competed for food with several other dogs... so he was definitely on the thin side. He gained 5 lbs in the first month with us.

Is Kirk doing good with all of his commands? Is he in puppy class? It sounds like he's great with meeting new people. I'm dealing with Fozzie right now, he turns into a wiggle-worm when he realizes some one wants to pet him
