Yellows are fairly hard to come by, especially in pet stores. Getting yellow Bettas requires the red-loss gene in both parents... meaning, if you breed a yellow Betta and a Betta with any red on it (or even a Betta that is a different color but carries the red gene), you will not get yellow babies.
