Chicken quarter.. (After I posted I realized they were frozen enough to eat) I really wish I had some money today so I could have bought some boneless thighs for Lily. They were regular $7+ but they were on sale from $1.50-$3!

Snowy had her first turkey today and she absolutely loved it

3rd week now and she is doing fine, enjoying everything I've given her: chicken, pork, lamb kidney, beef & chicken liver, eggs and now turkey.

I bought some salmon they other day.. gosh.. raw fish stinks I have frozen it and will give it to her later this week. I'm sticking with chicken, pork and turkey for the moment and will introduce the new meat to her diet this weekend which is beef.

I have not considered giving tripe to Snowy. It's not available at the supermarket so I will have to find a butcher. Does it smell worse than raw fish?

Don't buy the tripe from the grocery store - it is bleached for human consumption and has few nutrients left in it. If you want it you're going to have to get it from someone who doesn't have USDA inspected meat. I'm buying from someone who strictly raises animals for dogs and cats fed raw food, so USDA isn't really needed.

I have never fed it but am on a waiting list to get 20lbs. I have heard it stinks to high heaven though. If you can't find it don't worry about it, it's a good add-on to a diet but not imperitive.

Change in plans - Mandy didn't have pork. I gave the pork to Buck, Luka had a half of a chicken, Mandy and Nova had a quarter of a chicken and a few pieces of beef that I was packaging up for tomorrow, and also their daily chicken feet.

It rained so hard last night! I had to feed the dogs inside, so I fed them frozen Lamb shanks. Buck and Luka ate in crates and Nova and Mandy ate on a towel together.

They haven't eaten yet today, I woke up late and had to rush to work. I have half of a chicken out thawing for Buck for when I get home and feed him during lunch. Have no idea what they're all getting for dinner yet.

Chicken leg quarter as usual, and she'll be getting the same while I'm away this weekend.

Snowy had raw salmon yesterday and I swear I could still smell dead fish on her I won't give her raw fish too often, that's for sure. She also had a raw egg in the evening without the shell because she never eats the shell.

Today's menu is a chicken wing and a lamb kidney. I actually don't recommend chiken wings to anybody else but it is a perfect size for Snowy.

I don't buy USDA inspected meat because..... I live in England
But I do understand what you are saying. Thanks Sarah!
In that case I shall give raw tripe a miss.
Snowy gets dried tripe anyway on occassions as a treat.

They had boneless beef this morning. Not sure what they're getting for dinner yet.

The dogs were nawtee today, someone got into a pizza that had only 2 slices taken out and finished it off.. i think it might have been Tinny . As we were at the beach all day the dogs just got some chicken quarters & beef liver when we got home.

The pups had chicken quarters & beef liver last night.

This morning they had a very small amount of boneless beef (just got about 50lbs of it for free last night) with some cottage cheese & an egg & shell each.

    Tonight will be beef.

I decided to continue to feed twice a day. But I am feeding a larger meal at night & just a snack in the morning. Except on weekends when I have more time (and I like to keep the amount of food & variety of meats varied) they may get a little larger breakfast & a little smaller dinner.

I wanted to add that almost every day (will be everyday once my "orders" with some local butchers start building up their stock for me) they get chicken feet &/or beef tracheas. I usually give these as a snack, about 1-3 hours before or after a meal. Right now because my supply is limited it is mainly just Nanook & Raustyk that get these. They are both great sources of glucosamine & chondrotin, great for joint problems!

that's quite a sale I do look for bargains too but not much around.
Have you considered introducing other meat/organ Bri or are you sticking with chicken for the time being?

I'm sticking with Chicken until my mom gets financially situated. As soon as possible though, I'm switching Lily back to Raw and adding some pork &/or turkey into Roxy's diet.
